Systems Engineer

Based throughout the US, FireEye is looking for self-starting, responsible, mature, highly motivated Systems Engineers who can work well with a team of corporate sales representatives, as well as individually with customers, partners and remote colleagues. The role will demand interaction with large scale enterprises at senior levels, as well as with technical staff within the traditional IT organization. Responsibilities include the ability to establish strong business relationships at a very technical level, conducting technical presentations, coordinating multiple resources within an account and successfully closing business for FireEye. The successful candidate will have possessed a very strong technical background that is strong in provisioning and managing evaluations.

Responsibilities:

  • Strong focus on pre-sales meetings
  • Deliver web based product demos
  • Drive technical evaluations with customers
  • Convert prospects into sales by differentiating from the competition
  • Work with Sales Representatives to ensure we meet customers satisfaction
  • Work with the channel to train Partner SE's
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of FireEye's technology

Requirements:

  • Very strong technical experience with network and security products
  • Must be strong in installing and managing evaluations
  • Must be organized, detail and process oriented
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and use good judgment in resolving difficult issues
  • Ability to coordinate FireEye resources to execute a complex network environments
  • BA/BS or equivalent preferred
  • 10+ years successful field Systems Engineer experience; preferably Network or Security focused
  • US Citizenship required
