Position Overview
The Channel Marketing Manager will be responsible for all outbound channel marketing activities for FireEye globally. As a core member of the Marketing team, the Channel Marketing Manager will own all global channel programs and communications, including managing channel funds, driving online and offline events and working with our partners to drive both awareness and lead generation (trade shows, webinars, lunch and learns, road shows) globally. The Channel Marketing Manager will work closely with Channel Sales, Product Marketing, Technical Marketing, and Field Marketing. The position reports to the Chief Marketing Officer and will be based in Silicon Valley.
Candidate
The successful candidate will have 8-15 years of high technology marketing experience. Strong written and oral communication skills are mandatory. Channel marketing expertise, experience with enterprise products are highly valuable. Candidates with high energy, a responsive attitude, and a desire for success will be given preference.
Required Skills and Attributes
- Bachelor's degree is required, MBA highly desirable
- Experience running channel marketing programs and events for an enterprise-focused company; some experience in B2B security hardware and/or software a plus (Firewall, IPS, AV, Web/Email Security), but not required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong ability to conceive and initiate new ideas
- Ability to engage completely with the technical and sales communities with good communication and credibility
- Talented at providing vision, guidance, and structure to outbound channel marketing
- Self motivated, driven and passionate about winning
- Detail oriented
